So, are you ready?
Having asked yourself all of the previous questions and read the information about adding a dog to your family, what do you think? You ready? No? Like I said previously, there are no right and wrong answers. Everyone is an individual and if you are not ready for the huge responsibility of a puppy or dog; then it is best to know that before bringing one home.
How about everyone else in the family?
Believe me when I say that “everyone has to be ready.” I have many stories of one person wanting a dog; but did not check with the other people in the family. It is a very sad reality that many people do not end up keeping a dog when the other adult involved did not want a dog in the first place. This has to be a group consensus.
I would LOVE to hear if it is yes or no. If you are ready, then the next step is to figure out what type of dog would match your lifestyle. So many more questions to ask yourself.
