I cannot believe that we are already halfway through November. The time just keeps zipping by. I just got back from a wonderful trip back home to Canada where I enjoyed really cool temperatures. Here in SoCal we are into the 70s, I'll take it over 90s and 100 any day.
This months cookie recipe includes mint for fresh breath. You can substitute parsley if you like or add both. I have also made these with spearmint instead of mint.

Minty Bites
- 2 Cups oat flour (preferably organic)
- 1/4 Cup chopped mint
- 1/4 Cup coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1/4-1/2 cup warm water
- Pink Himalayan salt
Preheat oven to 350.
Chop mint fine. Throw all ingredients except water into bowl and mix well. Add 1/4 cup warm water and more if needed to make a nice rollable dough.
Roll out to approximately 1/4" thickness and cut into desired shapes. Bake for 20-25 minutes on 350 then turn oven off and leave to dry. Great pack snack.
Training tip #11
Is your dog bored? Getting into trouble? How about a great game of find the treat?
Get a big "old" sheet and break your cookies up into small pieces. Hide them in the sheet folds here and there. Set your dog loose on the sheet and tell them to "find" the cookies. This is a fun game and also teaches your dog what "find" means. :) Have fun.
